Holly- the orphaned niece- was written beautifully and realistically/5(). The Christmas Eve Letter is descriptive and beautifully written.  The character development is great, the plot stunning and captivating.  It's a book that many romance fiction lovers will love--but if you also love time-travel--this is right up your alley. 5 Stars!/5(). It Happened Christmas Eve is a short read with only 13 Chapters bit long enough to get you in the Christmas spirit. It Happened Christmas Eve is exactly as the name states. 12 Chapters playing of over Christmas Eve when Phoebe falls in love with Adam, the day her cold hearys warms up/5. On Christmas Eve by Ann M. Martin is a holiday novel revealing the true effects of what Christmas magic can do for someone. The novel starts out with eight-year-old Tess who has decided that this year she is actually going to meet Santa this year/5. The book is arranged with traditional Christmas selections interspersed with "angel" pieces, original to the composer/arranger. Every arrangement is special, but "O Come, O Come Emmanuel," "Silent Night," and "O Holy Night" are unforgettably beautiful/5(32).   On Christmas Eve, you'll find most Icelanders snuggled in with a cup of something warm all doing the same thing: reading a book. The premise is simple: Gift a new book to someone you love. This book-gifting tradition dates back to World War II, when paper was one of the few items you could actually find in abundance.
